Myisha Wallace, M.A., RMFTI

Founder/Therapist

Hello! I am a mommy of three & served as an Air Force spouse for 9 years. I graduated from University of South Florida with a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and a graduate certificate in counseling for substance abuse. For therapy, I utilize an integrated approach when working with clients. Some of my approaches consist of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused Therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, as well as techniques founded by Gottman Therapy & EFT. For coaching, I prefer to utilize a solution-focused approach to help clients meet their goals.

I work with a variety of populations, believing that everyone deserves quality mental health care. I specialize in working with couples on various relationship issues, racial trauma, infidelity, and family conflict. I am an eager advocate for racial justice and live by a motto that her mother instilled in me as a child, "If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything." I proudly stand for racial equality, while advocating for black families mental health and wellness!

Fun Facts about me:

  1. 3 words to describe me: Jesus+Therapy+90's R&B

  2. I joined the crew team (rowing) in college.

  3. I unapologetically watch reruns of Martin like its a new show.

  4. I do not believe that I am a singer, but worship in my kitchen like I am on stage with Maverick City.

  5. If I wasn't a therapist, I would be an interior designer.
